Free health care should be provided by increasing the budget for health: Former Prime Minister Bhattarai

Kathmandu. Chairman of the Federal Council of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) and former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said that health services should be made accessible to all by increasing the budget.

Speaking at an interaction program on ‘Nepal’s Health Sector: Current Situation and Future Directions’ organized by the National Planning Commission here today, he said that the quality of health care should be made accessible to all by increasing the budget for the coming fiscal year. خدمة عملاء كونكر

He said that even though the constitution mentions providing basic health care to every citizen free of cost, it has not been completed.

“We have stated in the constitution that the state should provide free health care to every citizen,” he said, “but it has not been implemented yet. panathinaikos اي دوري We need to increase the size of the budget in the coming fiscal year to make health care free. ”

He opined that quality health services should be provided to the people by strengthening the health institutions run by the state.
